For a Seamless Experience

Step 1: Consultation & Site Assessment

We start with a complimentary consultation to understand your vision, needs, and budget. Our experts assess your property to determine the best location for your ADU and review local zoning regulations to ensure feasibility. This is an important first step to meet with the key players who will make decisions and need to know all that is involved with constructing an ADU on their property. Our specialist will come prepared to answer as many questions as possible during this initial session.


Step 2: Custom Design & Planning

When you are ready to move forward, our design team will work closely with you to create a custom ADU plan that fits your lifestyle and enhances your property. The estimate is provided, and we get to work. Initially, we provide detailed 3D renderings and floor plans, allowing you to visualize the space before construction begins. You will meet with the architect if needed to discuss any plan changes you desire and make sure your space is designed efficiently and structurally pleasing. You will also get to meet with the design selection coordinator to pick out options for your ADU. We have standard options and multiple upgrade options to review if you so desire.


Step 3: Permitting & Approvals

Navigating permits can be daunting, but we handle the entire process for you. Our team manages all necessary permits and approvals with local building authorities, ensuring your project meets all legal requirements without any hassle. Keep in mind that this part of the project can be very time consuming so be patient. We will keep you apprised along the way if anything comes up that will delay the timeline for your project.


Step 4: Construction & Project Management

Once permits are secured, our skilled builders get to work, transforming your design into reality. This is where things get real, and your dreams come to life. We manage every aspect of the construction process, keeping you informed with regular updates and ensuring the project stays on time and within budget.


Step 5: Final Inspection & Move-In

When the final construction processes are completed, inspected and approved, you will receive the certificate of occupancy. That means you can officially move in or begin using your ADU as a living space. Any final walk throughs are completed, and keys are turned over to you. Welcome home!
